People don't leave their problems at the door. They carry them with them as they step over the threshold to your church, ministry, organization or business. It's important to recognize and deal with these things. When done properly, your teamwork improves, your goals are reached, and you are more content in the process. We help you accomplish this level of excellence by offering the following:

Leadership Development / Training

We facilitate one on one and small group meetings for leaders and staff. Many leaders spend the majority of their time either preparing to do things or to serve others while neglecting their own personal life. Many have no practical relational accountability. Often, leaders have little time to train up their own staff and officers. We can help facilitate fellowship, relational accountability, improved communication, personal refreshment and leadership skills by becoming the extra eyes, ears and voices needed when there is often precious little time to do so.

Organizational Development / Consultation

We help develop deeper relationships among staff and leaders. Organizations often face some degree of internal conflict among its members and staff. Like iron sharpens iron, conflicts can be used to develop character. Whether it is strong personalities, weak leadership or disunity, we offer the opportunity to bring people together, solidify relationships and to develop character and restore harmony.

Personal Development / Coaching

We provide tools for achieving professional & personal goals and reaching the “next step.” Leaders and followers often lack the time, objectivity and opportunity to sharpen their own skills, overcome their own personal and professional obstacles, and reach the next level of excellence. Coaching provides the opportunity to address areas in which you would like to excel, or are holding you back. Such issues may include time management, relational skills, preaching and teaching, organizational challenges, financial management, development (fundraising), understanding and strengthening leadership dynamics, among others.

Mentoring

We connect leaders with an expereince. Many leaders benefit from having a mentor. Experienced leaders serve younger mentees who learn from their wisdom and experience.

40 Principles (Character Development)

The 40 principles is a values education program designed specifically for two groups of people: youth ages 13- 20 and adults 21 and up. Our mission is to help people understand, internalize and exhibit the character values that make them responsible and productive adults, fathers, mothers, leaders and image bearers of God. Our vision is that they all become spiritually strong, mentally awake and morally straight men and women that God intended them to be. Woven throughout all of our leadership, organizational and personal development activities, the 40 principles can be taught individually or in a cluster (such as for a small group or during a conference or seminar), or in a 40 or 52 week roundtable discussion format.

HaYesod Classes (The Foundation)

This is a complete discipleship course that respectfully explores the Jewish foundation of Christianity. Comprehensive workbooks, lesson guides, and additional supplementary materials make this program one of the most well-rounded and comprehensive studies of this area of biblical studies. Lessons are carefully developed to build an understanding of the Bible and ignite one's relationship to the Land, the People, and the Scriptures of Israel. Our prayer is that our presentation of these precious truths will give new perspectives on the Scriptures and excite your faith.

Life Groups

One of the most important things we can do for our personal development or faith is to join a small group and connect with others. Without a small group, it’s easy to either get lost in the crowd of your church or group, hide in a corner and not get involved at all. Life Groups are small groups of men and women that meet weekly all year long, but usually begin with a DVD training or book to read through. We offer to establish these groups, or train your own leaders on how to establish and maintain these groups within your church, organization or ministry.

Confidential Care to Leaders and Families

We provide healing and encouragement to those feeling the “storm & stress” of serving others. Leaders and their families are often stretched to their limits, and neglect their own needs. We offer a safe harbor of friendship and care.

Seminars

We help equip leaders for the “work of service.” Threshold Leadership Development Corporation periodically offers training seminars to leaders and staff that address timely topics designed to serve you in your work-related or personal journey. Such topics include each of the 40 principles (one seminar per principle); problem solving; communication; strategic planning; organizational management; fundraising; board development; stress management and leadership. We would be happy to bring a seminar on any one (or combination) of these topics to your location.

Retreats

We provide refreshment and renewal. We can lead challenging and/or relaxing retreats on an as needed basis, or work with you to conduct your own. In addition to coordinating and managing such retreats we are building a network of retreat opportunities in a variety of beautiful settings including central Pennsylvania that offer very affordable retreats for leaders, and their families.

The Ultimate Challenge (1, 3 and 5 Day Leadership Development Excursions)

Like a game show in which participants must advance to the next level by completing certain assignments (such as adventure activities and trust games), our leadership development excursions, held at an Spruce Lake Retreat, builds on themselves, like layers of an onion. The Ultimate Challenge focuses on practicing the leadership development skills learned throughout the training, as teams compete one with the other to be named the Ultimate Leaders! In this way, we make learning fun, and give participants an experience that will stay with them forever.

An Affordable Solution Tailored to Your Needs

Our training stresses the power of favor and influence. Personal power is greater than positional power. We focus on building relationships that bring about royalty trust and commitment and emphasize how everyone can work together for a common purpose or mission.

• A 40 day training (can be conducted on consecutive business days, or over 40 weeks, with one session each week. If desired, we have a full year, 52 week expanded program as well). This combines several off-site interactive experiences (usually at a retreat), with training conducted in your office.
